My first finished book, name on the cover and everything! It’s even got an introduction by Julie Walters no less.
This is a piece I was invited to work on by Karen Boswell ( who’s really cool idea it was ) and a top bloke called Will Jones. It’s on behalf of a bunch of people called brainstrust who do amazing work providing support and advice for brain tumour sufferers. The idea was to to communicate to children in as simple way as possible a bit about their illness and how braintrust can help.
It was a chance to experiment with some textures and drawing techniques, the whole thing just evolved as it went on – dead chuffed with it in the end. We got the printed book back this week and it looks fantastic, just hope it goes some way to helping – well done one and all!
